Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
